FBR Tax Compliance

Federal tax compliance in Pakistan involves multiple obligations that must be managed simultaneously. Income tax returns for companies must be filed by December 31st following the tax year, while advance tax payments are required quarterly for companies with significant tax liabilities. Our team manages the complete FBR compliance calendar for our clients, ensuring no deadlines are missed and all returns are prepared accurately.

Sales tax compliance under the Sales Tax Act 1990 requires monthly return filings by the 18th of the following month, accurate maintenance of input and output tax records, proper issuance of sales tax invoices, and compliance with anti-avoidance provisions. We handle this entire cycle for our clients, including reconciliation of sales tax with financial accounts and management of refund claims where applicable.

For clients without existing software, we recommend and implement the most suitable platform based on their business size, complexity, and budget.
How does your monthly bookkeeping service work?
Each month, you share your bank statements, invoices, receipts, and any other relevant financial documents with us via our secure client portal, email, or WhatsApp. Our team processes all transactions, reconciles your accounts, and prepares your monthly financial statements within the agreed turnaround time. We then share the completed accounts for your review and answer any queries you may have.
Can you help us register with FBR and get an NTN?
Absolutely. We provide complete FBR registration services including NTN (National Tax Number) registration for individuals and companies, sales tax registration (STRN) where applicable, and registration with provincial tax authorities (PRA, SRB). We handle the entire application process and ensure all documentation is correctly prepared and submitted.
How do you ensure the confidentiality of our financial data?

What are your payment terms?
Our standard payment terms are monthly in advance for ongoing service packages. For one-time services such as annual tax returns, we typically require a 50% advance with the balance due upon completion. We accept payment via bank transfer, JazzCash, and EasyPaisa. All fees are agreed upfront and documented in our engagement letter.
Do you provide services to businesses outside Rawalpindi?
Yes, we serve clients across all of Pakistan. Most of our services can be delivered entirely remotely through video calls, email, WhatsApp, and our secure document sharing portal. We have clients in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and many other cities. Geographic location is no barrier to receiving our professional services.
Can you take over bookkeeping from my current accountant?
Yes, we regularly assist clients in transitioning their accounting from other providers. We handle the entire handover process, including obtaining prior period data, reviewing existing records for accuracy, and bringing accounts up to date. We conduct a thorough review of the historical books and identify and correct any discrepancies before assuming ongoing responsibility.
What if we receive a tax notice from FBR?
For clients under our service, tax notices are handled by our team as part of the service package. We review the notice, prepare the appropriate response, and manage all correspondence with FBR on your behalf. For clients not on a package, we offer tax notice response as a separate service. Early engagement is critical — please contact us immediately upon receiving any notice.
How quickly can you start work on our accounts?
Following an initial consultation and signing of our engagement letter, we can typically begin work within 3-5 business days. For urgent requirements such as approaching tax deadlines or immediate audit support, we can often start within 24-48 hours.
